KICKER Marine Audio is coming on strong in the marine industry. KICKER has long been known in the “12-Volt” world of car, truck and Powersports mobile audio and has more recently flexed more muscle in the marine environment. Located in Oklahoma, the brand initially appealed to many neighboring lake boats and it excelled in the pontoon market, expanding to wake and surf boats. Now fishing boats and cruisers are adding to the KICKER Marine Audio ranks, based on the strong, waterproof and reliable characteristics of its product.
KICKER Marine Audio has teamed up with Reef Runner Boats as a sponsor in its third annual “Battle Breast Cancer Giveaway” as Reef Runner runs a donation campaign to raise money for Susan G. Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale. KICKER Marine Audio donated a full sound system to the 230 Open fishing boat, joining other sponsors like Evinrude, TACO Marine, SeaDek, Epson and others. The boat will be on display at the entrance to the show at the Miami Marine Stadium, space D-50 and $25 donations for tickets to win the boat will benefit breast cancer research. The winner will be drawn at the show at 1 PM on Monday, February 17.
KICKER Marine Audio will also be at the show’s opening industry event on Thursday morning, the Boating Writing International (BWI) and Marine Marketers Association (MMA) breakfast, sponsoring the Travel Writing Award and Neptune Awards, respectively. Winners of these prestigious marine writers and industry marketing awards will received KICKER audio equipment prizes, showing how KICKER lifestyle products are a part of the sound of its marine audio components
KICKER will show its lineup of marine audio equipment in the D-Tent #139. Coaxials, subwoofers, amplifiers, receivers, service units and remotes for operation and lighting are part of the offerings, but KICKER Marine Audio has gone the extra mile to ensure that its behind the scenes components are waterproof, durable and problem-free. New products are also being added to the line, including more wiring, AMP kits, RCA Interconnects and terminals, all designed from the start to be marine compliant.
