HYBRID BOAT TECHNOLOGY IN NORTH AMERICA
With investments in production efficiency, hybrid technology, and two brand new models by the end of the year, 2020 is set to be another exciting milestone for Greenline Yachts.
The 2019 expansion in North America combined with the introduction of new models Greenline 45 Fly and Greenline 48 Coupe Hybrid has resulted in the American market garnering 30% of overall factory production.
North America’s appetite for the Greenline industry-leading hybrid technology established a trend that was mirrored globally for the brand in 2019. In the US, 90% of boats sold to the region were equipped with H-Drive hybrid technology. Worldwide hybrid adoption increased from 43%-49% between 2018 and 2019 demonstrating a clear path towards a more sustainable and responsible style of boating.
CUTTING EDGE MEETS SUSTAINABILITY
Greenline’s relentless focus on sustainable boating saw the roll out of its all electric E-Drive system across the entire line with electric-only boats. YachtSaleInternational.com will deliver the first all-electric Greenline 39 to its new owner in Washington DC during spring of 2020.
5G H-DRIVE LAUNCH IN 2020
Greenline will launch the 5G H-Drive in Boot Düsseldorf this month. The 5G is the latest version of its hybrid drive system with flexible battery add-ons. Based on model type, upgrading up to three additional batteries more than doubles the current cruising range using only electric power.
THE FUTURE OF BOATING IS HAPPENING NOW
Greenline's 33 Hybrid, 39 Hybrid, 40 Hybrid, 45 FLY, 48 FLY Hybrid, and 48 Coupe Hybrid will all be available for showings at Pier 7 for the Miami Boat Show.
