MUST-SEE HIGHLIGHTS OF DBMIBS 2026

TOP THINGS TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE AT THE 2026 DISCOVER BOATING® MIAMI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW®

World’s Greatest Boat Show Celebrates 85 Years with Reimagined Footprint & Immersive Boating Experiences

Miami, FL (January 22, 2026) — The
2026 Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® marks a defining moment in the event’s history as it celebrates its 85th anniversary with a reimagined show experience across Miami and Miami Beach during President’s Day weekend, February 11–15. This milestone year features a refreshed show campus across three key locations: the return of in-water yacht displays along Collins Avenue as the Miami Beach Yacht Collection, the debut of a new sailing destination, Sailor’s Cove, and a central hub anchored by the Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park. Together, these enhancements create a more connected, accessible layout that blends nostalgia, innovation, and the boating lifestyle in a way that feels distinctly Miami.

An annual destination for tens of thousands of boating enthusiasts from around the world, the Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® showcases thousands of the newest boat models and marine innovations to browse, board, and buy. The show also features a wide range of experiences and activations designed to connect attendees more deeply with the boating lifestyle.

Highlights of the 2026 Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® include:

1. The Return of the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue

The Miami Beach Yacht Collection returns to Collins Avenue for the first time since 2018, bringing inwater yacht displays back to one of Miami Beach’s most recognizable waterfront corridors. Set along Indian Creek and adjacent to landmark hotels like Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Eden Roc Miami Beach, the location reconnects the Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® with a stretch of coastline that has long been part of the city’s boating story and luxury culture.

Showcasing powerboats and motor yachts from 30 to 125 feet, the Miami Beach Yacht Collection offers a walkable, dockside experience that blends premium vessels with the unmistakable energy of Miami Beach. Visitors can explore world-class yacht brands, step aboard luxury yachts, and experience the show in a setting that reflects both its history and its modern evolution.

2. Sailor’s Cove and the Easiest Way to Explore Sailing

Sailor’s Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami debuts as a dedicated destination for sailboats, catamarans, and the sailing lifestyle. Designed as an all-in-one hub, it allows visitors to compare in-water sailboat displays, explore sailing gear, and connect with experts in a modern marina setting. A full seminar series dedicated to sailing will also take place at Sailor’s Cove, offering educational programming for those looking to deepen their knowledge or explore sailing for the first time.

To make the experience seamless, Sailor’s Cove offers a dedicated park and ride with $25 on-site parking, allowing attendees to access the sailing destination and move between show locations with ease.

3. A More Seamless Connection Between Three Show Locations

The 2026 Miami Boat Show’s new footprint is designed to elevate and streamline the attendee experience across three main locations, featuring a more connected layout.

At the heart of the show, the
Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park serve as the main gathering point, featuring hundreds of boats up to 49 feet alongside marine engines, electronics, accessories, and retail shopping. It is the natural starting point for the show and the primary hub, connecting visitors to the Miami Beach Yacht Collection and Sailor’s Cove.

To simplify travel between locations, attendees can take advantage of coordinated transportation options, including shuttles, ride share access, and nearby parking. These enhancements are designed to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and make moving between the three show destinations more intuitive.

Sailor’s Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami further supports this seamless experience with a dedicated park and ride offering $25 on-site parking. Together, these improvements allow visitors to spend less time navigating logistics and more time enjoying the boats, experiences, and waterfront atmosphere that define the 2026 Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show®.

4. The Chance to Dive into the Boat Life through a Host of Immersive Boating Experiences & Education

Beyond the boats, the 2026 Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® is designed as a complete Miami day out, blending on-the-water excitement with entertainment, food, and hands-on experiences that invite visitors to stay, explore, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Just outside, the Progressive Experience at Pride Park delivers an energetic, open-air atmosphere that combines the fun of a carnival boardwalk with the timeless charm of an old port town. The area feels lively, walkable, and approachable, encouraging visitors to linger between exhibits and enjoy the experience.

Pride Park is also home to AquaZone by Nautical Ventures, the world-famous freshwater pool holding 40,000 gallons of water. Here, attendees get a front-row seat to live in-water demonstrations, hands-on testing, contests, prizes, and showcases of the latest water sports and innovative marine products.

Educational programming throughout Pride Park includes practical sessions, such as Ask a Captain, Docking De-Stressed, Diesel Basics, and How to Get Your Captain’s License, along with deeper dives into navigation, weather, cruising, and boat ownership led by instructors from the Annapolis School of Seamanship and other industry experts. Standout storytelling moments include the Great Loop Speed Record session, where Robert Youens, known as “The Ageless Wanderer”, recounts completing the Great Loop, a continuous recreational waterway connecting the Atlantic and Gulf Intracoastal Waterways, the Great Lakes, Canadian Heritage Canals, and America’s inland rivers, in a jon boat in a record-breaking 19 days at age 71.

Families can also take part in Kids Fishing Clinics hosted by Captain Don Dingman, a longtime favorite that introduces children to boating in a fun and approachable way, while Pride Park’s Goslings Bar offers a relaxed place to unwind between exhibits.

“As we celebrate 85 years, the 2026 show reflects a return to what makes this event so special while introducing meaningful improvements for today’s audience,” said Andrew Doole, President of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets. “From the iconic return of yachts along Collins Avenue to new exhibits and immersive destinations, this year’s experience is designed to be easier, more engaging, and more memorable.”

“The Discover Boating® Miami International Boat Show® has always been about inspiring people to get on the water and discover what boating can add to their lives,” said Frank Hugelmeyer, President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. “With its reimagined layout, iconic venues, and hands-on experiences—from stepping aboard the latest boats to learning from experts and enjoying on-water attractions—the 2026 show makes it easier than ever for families, firsttime visitors, and longtime fans alike to experience the boating lifestyle firsthand.”
