The Progressive® Insurance Miami International Boat Show returns to Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin February 14-18 with a variety of new and improved transportation options for show goers. With Miami being one of the most traffic dense cities in the country, the show is helping to create a stress-free experience for attendees with more park-and-ride locations in 2019, free water taxi and shuttle bus services, and easy-to-navigate public transportation options. 

2019 Miami Boat Show transportation details:

NEW TECHNOLOGY- DOWNLOAD THE MIAMI CONNECTIONS APP
  • This year’s show will feature a new app and onsite transportation screens from RaftUp Technologies, providing arrival and departure updates for water taxis, helping attendees better plan their show experience. Download the Miami Connections App to track water taxis arrivals and departures in real time and enjoy other show enhancements. Available to download on iOS and Android.

COME BY TRAIN

  • Coming from the Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach areas? New to Miami is the Brightline, an express train service that easily connects Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and conveniently drops riders just a fifteen minute shuttle ride from the show. FREE shuttle bus service is provided from the Miami Brightline Station directly to the show.

  • Coming from the South or North Dade County? Leave your car at home and take the Metrorail from any station to the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theater Station. From there, simply head next door to the Brightline MiamiCentral parking garage (161 NW 6 St), where the show will offer FREE shuttle bus service with a quick fifteen minute ride directly to the show.
  • Coming from Broward and Palm Beach counties? Leave your car at home and take the Tri-Rail http://www.tri-rail.com with a short transfer to the Metrorail http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/metrorail.asp and head to the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theater Station. From there, simply head right next door to the Brightline MiamiCentral parking garage (161 NW 6 St),  where the show will offer FREE shuttle bus service with a quick fifteen minute ride directly to the show.

FREE WATER TAXI

  • Enjoy a relaxing and complimentary water taxi ride across Biscayne Bay directly to the show from: Bayfront Park (301 Biscayne Blvd.) and American Airlines Arena (Biscayne Blvd. at 8th St.).
  • Hours of operation are 8:00am-7:00pm, Thursday – Monday, February 14-18. Water taxis drop riders at a special entrance from the water. As a result, attendees using the boat show’s water taxi services must have an admission ticket to board a water taxi. Attendees should purchase tickets online and bring a printed copy to access the water taxis and boat show.

COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE

  • With dedicated park-and-ride lots around the city, this year’s show will offer FREE shuttle bus service from the following locations: American Airlines Arena (Biscayne Blvd. at 8th St.), the Brightline MiamiCentral parking garage (161 NW 6 St), and Hickman and West Lot Garages (at the corner of 2nd Ave. and 2nd St.).
  • Shuttle buses drop riders at the front entrance to the show.An admission ticket is not required to board a shuttle bus. Tickets are available to purchase at the main entrance to show.

RIDESHARE & VALET

  • Want to take an Uber or Lyft? A special drop-off and pick-up area for rideshare vehicles will be in the show’s Lot C, located in the Seaquarium lot, within walking distance to the show.
  • Want the ultimate in convenience? Valet drop-off and pick-up is offered at the front entrance of the show near Whisky Joe’s. Guarantee your spot by purchasing your valet parking online at MiamiBoatShow.com, and simply drive up, drop off your car, and head into the show.
    • FreeBee’s, six-passenger electric powered vehicles, will transport show goers directly from the valet lot to the main entrance of the show. 

DEDICATED DOWNTOWN PARKING

  • The Miami Boat Show offers offsite parking at three key lots in central locations in downtown Miami. Each lot offers FREE water taxi and/or shuttle bus rides directly to the show. The lots include: American Airlines Arena (Biscayne Blvd. at 8th St.), the Brightline MiamiCentral parking garage (161 NW 6 St), and the Hickman and West Lot Garages (at the corner of 2nd Ave. and 2nd St.).  Reserve parking online ahead of the show at MiamiBoatShow.com.

PARKING ON VIRGINIA KEY

  • General parking is available on Virginia Key at Historic Virginia Key Beach in parking Lot B. Parking for Lot B must be ordered online in advance at MiamiBoatShow.com; limited space is available.
  • Dedicated handicapped parking is available at parking Lot C (Seaquarium); order in advance online at MiamiBoatShow.com.

BIKE TO THE BOAT SHOW  

  • With so many bike riders who enjoy heading to the show, more dedicated bicycle parking is being provided in 2019. Bicycle parking is located in a designated area on Virginia Key next to Miami Marine Stadium. Onsite signage will direct bike riders to parking.
