Welcome to the 2018 Miami International Boat Show being held at the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin, February 15 – 19, 2018. Please read this page in its entirety.
On the heels of a successful 2017 event for both the Miami International Boat Show and the Strictly Sail Show, we’ve begun planning for 2018. We are excited to share the news that Strictly Sail Miami will join the Miami International Boat Show at the Miami Marine Stadium next year, February 15 – 19, 2018. An overwhelming number of exhibitors asked for power and sail to be in one location and the Miami Marine Stadium, with its deep-water basin, is the ideal world class venue to bring these two iconic evens together.
Sail Exhibitors will receive a space request form for Miami 2018. In water space request forms should go to Scott Cohen at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sail booth exhibitors should return your space request form to John Hagins at email@example.com. Invoices should go to the payment center with your 30% deposit. Space will not be allocated without a deposit.
We made several improvements for the 2017 show and look forward to fine tuning again for year three in 2018. We are working with our contractors to re-engineer the air conditioning in all of our tents to give you a more comfortable exhibit experience. We are also working on further enhancements of our food and beverage options and seating throughout the show.
The application you received shows your space renewal for the space you occupied in the 2017 show. If you were located in Tent C in the 2017 show, you will note that your space number has changed. THE LOCATION IS EXACTLY THE SAME – ONLY THE NUMBER HAS CHANGED.
In addition to the adding Strictly Sail to the Marine Stadium venue, many exhibiting companies throughout the show are requesting additional space. This is going to create a very high demand for space in the 2018 show and it is imperative that you renew your space and note your change requests by May 1st so that the space you occupied in 2017 is secure. Your first right of refusal is subject to changes in the overall layout as well as receipt of your contract/space request and deposit by May 1st, 2017.
To renew your existing space:
Simply check the box marked “We accept the same space…” complete the To Be Filled out by Exhibitor Section, sign the application and return it via email to your Exhibitor Relationship Manager. (Do not mail the application with invoice/deposit). Your deposit which is based on your 2017 space should be mailed along with the invoice to the payment center address for receipt by May 1st.
To request a change in space size or location:
Check the box marked “we request the following change….” and note your request in the designated space. We will do everything possible to accommodate your request, however, making this notation is not a confirmation of the change.
Once we have all of the applications back and know what is available and what exhibitors are requesting, space changes will be allocated in seniority order starting with NMMA Members. Please be patient as we work through this process and be ready when called to make your decision in a timely manner as there are other exhibitors waiting patiently.
