Innovation Awards
Enter your Innovative Product in the Miami International Boat Show and Miami Strictly Sail Innovation Awards — Deadline January 21, 2009
Up to nine new consumer marine products will be honored at the Miami shows, recognizing the most innovative products in the following categories:
- Runabouts and Fishing Craft to 24’
- Inboard and Outboard Powered Cruisers (24’ to 140’ including fishing craft)
- PWC, Jet boats, Pontoon Boats
- Inflatables, Small Boats (up to 15’) and Tenders
- Sail Boats (mono, multi-hull)
- Consumer Electronics and Software
- Consumer Installed Non-Electronic Hardware (equipment must be non-electric and may be deck equipment such as anchors, BBQs, blocks, winches/winch handles or interior hardware such as screens, vents, etc.)
- Consumer Installed Docking and Fendering Equipment (Owner installed docks, boatwhips, boatlifts, davits, cranes, fenders or fendering systems, etc.)
- Consumer Personal Gear (clothing, sunglasses, safety equipment available to consumer, or anything you might carry on your person)
* Please Note: All boats entered in the Innovation Awards must be NMMA Certified.
One product may also be honored with the Environmental Innovation Award, recognizing an environmentally-friendly product that benefits the entire industry and consumers.
