
Renowned charter fishing Captain Bouncer Smith discusses South Florida Fishing Circles.Captain Bouncer has been fishing in and around Miami for more than 50 years, has established himself as one of South Florida's best known fishing icons and built a remarkable legacy in sport fishing. Bouncer started working on boats at age 15 and by age 19 he was running boats himself, navigating the waters of South Florida and turning his passion for fishing into his life's work.
Kipnis, coming back for a third time by popular demand, will be putting on his fishing-focused seminar with information about reefs, corals and Florida waters, along with plenty of pictures of trophy catches and underwater video of sea life at various times in the Miami International Boat Show's Big Game Room seminar program. Capt. Thomas J. Hilton returns to the BGR seminar program to disucss sea surface temperatures, chlorophyll, altimetry and surface currents and their effect on offshore fishing conditions. Captain Dan Kipnis, has been traveling across the country presenting his compelling and enlightening program, Global Warming — Our Changing Oceans aiming to convert skeptics to the cause and effects of Global Warming. Kipnis, an ardent fisheries conservationist, talks to hunters and anglers about Global Warming and its effect on the oceans and near coastal environments. He also directs billfish tournaments in South Florida and South America, is a former charter captain and has been president of the Miami Beach Rod & Reel Club. Kipnis also serves as a director for the Florida Wildlife Federation, is the Chairman of the Economic, Social and Health Committee of the South Florida Climate Change Task Force, has served on various other boards and commissions.
