Captain Dan Kipnis, has been traveling across the country presenting his compelling and enlightening program, Global Warming -- Our Changing Oceans aiming to convert skeptics to the cause and effects of Global Warming. Kipnis, an ardent fisheries conservationist, talks to hunters and anglers about Global Warming and its effect on the oceans and near coastal environments. He also directs billfish tournaments in South Florida and South America, is a former charter captain and has been president of the Miami Beach Rod & Reel Club. Kipnis also serves as a director for the Florida Wildlife Federation, is the Chairman of the Economic, Social and Health Committee of the South Florida Climate Change Task Force, has served on various other boards and commissions.
Kipnis, coming back for a third time by popular demand, will be putting on his fishing-focused seminar with information about reefs, corals and Florida waters, along with plenty of pictures of trophy catches and underwater video of sea life at various times in the Miami International Boat Show's Big Game Room seminar program.

Tom Hilton will discuss Sea Surface Temperatures, Altimetry and Water Color Images and their effect on offshore fishing conditions.

Sheri Daye is a freedive spearfishing women's National Champion and holds multiple world records, including the prestigious yellowfin tuna at 179 lbs. She has been diving all around the wrld and is a host on the TV series, Speargun Hunter, currently airing on the Outdoor Channel. She will show some recent spearfishing video and will introduce Art Pinder, a living legend of spearfishing who recently had his biography published.

Scott's informative seminars on boat maintenance were a big hit last year and we're happy to welcome him back for 2010. This seminar is for owners that want a basic understanding of their boat and how to perform regular maintenance items such as oil changes, gel coat repairs, etc. Scott will also discuss "How to select the best boat for you".
Jake caught his first Billfish on fly (an Atlantic Sailfish) in Marathon Florida in 1975. Jordan, a FFF certified fly casting instructor, and charter member of the IGFA certified captains program, has since run up an amazing record as a fly angler of catching more than 1000 Billfish on the fly.
Captain Jordan will be demonstrating fly fishing equipment including fly rods, fly reels, rigging, knots, and many of the latest techniques which were developed mostly during the last 15 years by captains, mates and anglers for use in their pursuit of Billfish on Fly. Today, the techniques learned while releasing thousands of sailfish each year have spread world wide. A well prepared fly angler can expect to catch a very large percentage of the Billfish to which they cast their fly. A truly educational program -- you'll walk away a better angler!
