Chris and Melissa Fischer hosts of ESPN 2’s Offshore Adventures discuss Fishing and Free Diving the Pacific. They will also include Black Marlin fishing on the Hannibal Bank and Tarpon on the Pacific side of Costa Rica.  Chris and Melissa have fished all over the world on the Go Fisch and will share their stories and adventures.


Bouncer Smith

Bouncer Smith, Renowned charter fishing Captain Bouncer Smith discusses South Florida Fishing Circles. Captain Bouncer has been fishing in and around Miami for more than 50 years, has established himself as one of South Florida's best known fishing icons and built a remarkable legacy in sport fishing.  Bouncer started working on boats at age 15 and by age 19 he was running boats himself, navigating the waters of South Florida and turning his passion for fishing into his life's work.

Peter B. Wright and Dave Ferrell

Peter B. Wright and Dave Ferrell will return once again with their Marlin U seminar program.  This popular favorite from the editors of Marlin and Sport Fishing Magazines returns again by popular demand.

Capt. Dan Kipnis

As anglers, what can we expect from the effects of global warming on our oceans and inshore waters? It is not just water getting hotter, but changes in the chemistry of our seas that will have extreme effects on all sea creatures and even events that we take for granted, like the movement of the Gulf Stream. Captain Dan Kipnis, representing the National Wildlife Federation and www.TargetGlobalWarming.org will put all this in perspective for anglers in the Big Game Room with twice daily multimedia presentations detailing our coming challenges and how we can help mitigate their effects.

Manny Puig

Manny Puig, “The Sharkman” of the recently released Ultimate Predator, continues to educate and entertain audiences with their explosive encounters in the wild.  Manny Puig understands something about sharks and alligators that scientists have yet to pinpoint.  Theories of Puigs body language techniques in the water along with meditation have been thrown around, however, no one quite knows why Puig can swim alongside and even interact with the most feared predators on the planet.  Check back for schedule times and dates.

Tom Hilton

Tom Hilton will discuss Sea Surface Temperatures, Altimetry and Water Color Images and their effect on offshore fishing conditions.

Sheri Daye

Sheri Daye is a freedive spearfishing women's National Champion and holds multiple world records, including the prestigious yellowfin tuna at 179 lbs.  She has been diving all around the wrld and is a host on the TV series, Speargun Hunter, currently airing on the Outdoor Channel.  She will show some video and present an overview on spearfishing -- what it's about, where to begin, and how to improve.

 

Rob Clift

Rob Clift will give an informative presentation on the catch and release program from the National Parks Conservation Association along with information on rescue protection in Florida Bay.
